Small Groups

Small groups are a great way to develop meaningful relationships with others and encourage each other to grow in our faith in Jesus. Small groups are formed in many ways—around a common interest or ministry, geographic area, Bible study, Christian book study or video study. Some small groups meet in homes and others meet virtually.

Small Group Leaders Needed

Have you been part of North Heights for a while? Are you familiar with being led by the Holy Spirit and have a good knowledge of God's Word?

The next generation of Christ followers needs you. Prayerfully consider becoming a small group leader or co-leader to walk alongside others in their faith. Small groups meet for 10 weeks (or longer if the group chooses to). Training and resources provided. Meet at your home or virtually through Zoom. Contact Pastor Jordan at Jordan.Gehlhar@nhlc.org.

North Heights small groups embrace these key elements:

  1. Community: Building relationships and encouraging each other to take the next right step in faith
  2. God's Word: Discussing the Sunday message or conducting a Bible study or a Right Now Media video study are some ways to incorporate God's Word
  3. Prayer: Welcoming Holy Spirit-led prayer, healing prayer, and praying for each other and for those in our lives who don't know Jesus
  4. Outreach: Being intentional about inviting people you know into the small group—especially those who are new in faith or are searching for hope

If you are interested in starting a small group, leading or co-leading a small group or becoming part of a small group, contact Pastor Jordan at Jordan.Gehlhar@nhlc.org.
