Opportunities to Serve
In addition to our regular volunteer opportunities, we have three special projects that you can join in. Positions for all age groups. Indicate your availability and area of interest when you email Volunteers@nhlc.org.
Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection
October 21–November 4
Pack a gift-filled shoebox for a child in need around the world. Fill one as a family or donate individual items. Shoeboxes, brochures, and details are available at Sunday tables at both campuses. Each box will include a gospel storybook in a child's own language—pray for the child who will receive your box! Drop off filled boxes along with $9/box (checks payable to Samaritans Purse/memo line: OCC) in the Roseville Narthex or Arden Hills Doors A or B by November 4. More info.
We remain committed to starting food distribution with Ruby's Pantry but more time is needed to adequately prepare for the distribution. We plan to begin in early 2019 at Arden Hills. This ministry will distribute food to members of the community once per month. We continue to seek helpers to unload trucks, set up stations, carry food, and attend to parking. Cashiers, security, and prayer teams also needed. Plans continue for the Roseville campus.
Kid's Ministries Donations
We need old Christmas cards to use for a Christmas Sunday School project. Bring cards to Arden Hills Room 159, the Arden Hills Sunday table, or the Roseville welcome center.
SPANISH MINISTRY—AMIGOS DE Jesus
Thursdays, 6–8pm, Roseville
This growing ministry started as an outreach to English-speaking Latino children near the Roseville campus. It has expanded to accommodate children and adults of various backgrounds who have a thirst to know God. Our leadership is in place, but we are looking for helpers to assist each week. If you have a heart for sharing the love of Jesus with others, contact Gail Baez.
Food Shelf Sunday
Donate food items to help our neighbors in need the last Sunday of each month at both campuses. Donations go to area food shelves.
Volunteer for a 3-hour shift during the day Monday–Friday. This involves light clerical duties and answering the phones. We’d love to hear from you! Contact Reception@nhlc.org or 651-797-7800.
We are looking for nursery workers to serve at both Roseville and Arden Hills during worship services on Sundays and other occasional events. Contact Connie Hoffman.

Support Our Troops
Citizens Supporting Our Armed Forces (CSOAF) ships care packages to troops all over the world every month. Drop off items (hygiene items, protein bars, coffee, jerky, wet wipes, etc.) at drop boxes at Arden Hills Door B and Roseville Narthex. List of military care package items.
