Heartbreak

Divorce Care provides fifteen weeks of Christian specialist's ideas and direction regarding the separation and divorce process. Group discussion and biblical insights are a part of each meeting. You are not alone; others are experiencing similar emotions, thoughts, confusion and fears.

God created all of his people as single, unique individuals. However, we often get the singleness confused with being single. When marriages end, there can be confusion regarding our change of role(s). God has not changed nor has he forgotten about his desires for us. Two weeks are spent on finding our uniqueness outside of roles.

Healing

Broken relationships can leave us extremely vulnerable for unhealthy situations. In fact, our marriages may have been affected by our lack of knowing "when to say yes; when to say no;" thus, contributing to our divorces.

In mature relationships, we are proactive and free to express our feelings, attitudes and beliefs. Our differences should be treated with respect and GRACE.

Eight weeks are spent on studying the development of healthy boundaries via God's principles. Our healing is dependent on God's intervention and our determination to identify and form healthy relationships.

Happiness

God is a God of "new beginnings." He desires that our hard times teach us lessons. Learning to restore old relationships and find new ones is important to him. Several weeks are spent on identifying the "Hidden Keys for Loving Relationships."

We cannot truly be happy until we know the reason God created us. A condensed study of "The Purpose Driven Life," by Rick Warren, triggers us to get back into life and find God's purpose for each of us and to use the knowledge and experiences obtained through this journey of healing.
