About Women's Minstries
Why have a ministry specifically for women?
Consider this: Life experiences often differ from that of our brothers. Our strengths and weaknesses sometimes take different forms. Life choices may take us out of main stream recognition and contribution. Relationships with other women offer unique support. Simply put, to be full partners in the kingdom, we sometimes need to be encouraged in our strengths and built up in our weaknesses in different ways than our brothers in Christ. Women's Ministry offers opportunities for that to happen.

To encourage each woman in freedom to know who she is in Christ and to be fully engaged in using her unique gifts to fulfill her purpose.
North Heights Lutheran Church mission is The Body at work...Taking God's Power to the World. The church's model to carry out this mission is Ephesians 4:11: The Body at Work. Women's Ministries contributes its part to the church mission in ways designed to speak particularly to the women of North Heights Lutheran Church.
