Children's Special Needs

We welcome all children, regardless of physical, cognitive, or developmental limitations, and want to provide assistance for those who may have special needs in adapting to Sunday School or Wednesday evening programming. At North Heights we offer:

  • One-to-One Coaches (depending upon the availability of volunteers) for students who need assistance in order to participate in Sunday School and Wednesday Kingdom Kids classrooms. This is offered on both campuses.
  • A Specialized Classroom Sundays at 11 a.m. on the Arden Hills Campus for students who are not able to participate in a regular classroom setting.

Coaches and special needs classroom teachers are always needed, and make such a difference for both the children and their families (as it gives them the opportunity to attend church, which they may not have otherwise). We are always looking for volunteers. Please contact the Children's Ministries Office at 651-797-7861 if you can help.
